Hover over any BY keyword in a formula to see an instant, contextual hint explaining how your Dimensions are behaving. Surface at a glance whether your data is being aggregated or allocated and which Dimensions are replaced by the formula. You'll also see warnings when a formula may lead to unexpected Dimension behavior.
You can now deploy User Groups through granular deployment instead of recreating them manually in Production. Changes appear in the Change details panel, where you can review and select groups to deploy.
When a group is deployed, its access assignments are included to keep permissions consistent, but user assignments are not deployed, as users may differ between environments. Dependencies, such as required Applications, are handled automatically. This helps reduce errors and simplify access management across environments.
Keep key context visible as you scroll by freezing columns in your grid. Select a column header and choose Freeze up to column X to lock columns in place, or select any column within a group and choose Freeze column group to freeze all columns in that group.
Frozen columns stay pinned on the left as you explore your data. Unfreeze anytime from the same menu.
You can now navigate directly from one Board to another across Applications using Action buttons! You can specify the target Application and Board when adding an Action to a Board or when configuring it in the Action widget settings.
If an external link matches a Board in your Workspace, you can quickly convert it using the Convert to Board link option.
You now have greater control over how your data is displayed in your View with improved column and layout options. Resize columns with pixel-level precision for consistent sizing, freeze key columns to keep context while scrolling, and remove indentation between hierarchy levels in Tree Views for cleaner reporting.
These updates make it easier to structure your data for analysis and presentation.
It's here! Tables now natively support ratios, growth and other basic calculations between Metrics, even at aggregated level. New advanced aggregators are available from the ∑ menu, including product, ratios and difference. Use source Metrics or other advanced aggregations in the Table to chain calculations together.
Line, Combined, and Pie charts are now clearer and easier to explore, especially when working with complex datasets. With better spacing and cleaner rendering, insights are easier to interpret at a glance.
You can explore charts more intuitively with tooltips that reveal values anywhere you hover. Legends are scrollable for longer lists, and color markers are aligned for quicker identification. More chart improvements are on the way, with Waterfall charts up next!
Add the new Trigger Export Action button to your Board to let Members download scoped, formatted data with a click, whatever the size. When datasets are too large to render directly in Pigment, this is an easy way to share or analyze them outside the platform.
From today, Data Slices are compatible with Drill down. You can understand what's driving a number in a Data Slice by right-selecting it and picking Drill down, just as you would with your Metrics. It's easier than ever to validate insights directly from your data.
Pigment now supports Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse through the existing Azure SQL connector, expanding compatibility with modern Azure data sources.
The configuration is very similar to a standard Azure SQL setup, with both connection modes available directly within the same connector.
