Update Transaction lists in sections by deleting existing items

Now you can update your Transaction list in small sections by deleting existing Transaction list items in a limited scope and replacing them with new items from an import.

This will allow you to update your Transactions list by a particular month, product, or any other property with a dimension data type!

Now if only I could delete existing credit card transactions from online shopping while consuming wine.

Read more about how to Delete existing items in our community.

Check Access Rights from the Dependency Diagram

We have added two great new features around Access Rights.

Now the Dependency Diagram has the ability to show a user's Access Rights for all Metrics.  Users with Define Application security permission can now activate Show access rights. Metrics will turn green for Full Access, yellow for Partial Access and red for No Access. You can use the dropdown to easily switch between other users.

The second upgrade is that there is now an Access Rights section in the Block's settings panel. Now, you can quickly identify the Access Rights Rules, any metric's where Access rights are being inherited, and the Dimensions applying these Access Rights for a block.

Introducing Command Palette

If you ever wanted the ability to quickly search all available blocks in an Application, add new blocks in seconds, or navigate to the latest shortcuts. Well your wish is our command... palette

Typing cmd/ctrl+k opens the Command Palette.

Once opened, you can search throughout your entire application, or open at the Workspace level to search for other applications.

Depending on your Permissions, you can also create Blocks from the Command Palette. Learn more here.

Choose which lists get newly created items during imports

Now when you select to Automatically add new items to dependent Dimensions during an import, you can select which dimensions you want to create new items in.

Because sometimes you don't want certain lists to grow.

Hide empty rows or columns... separately !

Hide and seek is not a game you want to play with your data.

Previously, if you wanted to hide empty rows or columns in Pigment, you had to hide both.

Now you can hide empty rows or columns separately, the only thing you won't be able to hide is your excitement!

New Modifier called EXCLUDE

I was tempted to put in a pun for excluded but this time it's left out.

Pigment now has a new modifier available: Exclude. This modifier allows you to exclude data based on the source block (Metric or List Property) based upon criteria set up in the modifiers parameter.

Learn more about the different ways you can use EXCLUDE

Drill down on charts

This is not a drill, it's an update to Drill Down by and Drill to Transactions, they are now available on charts!

You can use Drill Down by to see how your data is impacted by different dimensions used in your chart.

You also have the ability to use the Drill to Transactions to see which transactions were part of that calculation.

Invite multiple members at once!

That's right, now you can import a CSV to invite multiple users into Pigment at the same time!

Finally, you can email the whole company without anyone being able to Reply All.

When inviting new members, click + Invite with CSV, then you can upload a CSV with all the newest members.  We even have a CSV template to make it easier for you!
