Calculated Item shortcuts

No need to be a maths genius to find out how to create a Year over Year calculated Item anymore!

We now have shortcut options for the “Calculated Item” feature, as we already have for "Show Value As" calculations! You can quickly and easily select from a preset list of options, including Last Year, or Month over Month, without having to go into the configuration menu.

You can also edit a Calculated Item calculation and choose one of the presets options directly from the configuration menu to start building new options from the preset ones.

We hope you find this helpful and that it saves you time when configuring your reports!

FULL. WIDTH. BOARDS.

It's a nice summer morning, you comfortably sit in your chair, ready to review your numbers on a Pigment Board. But like every time you open it on your 4K monitor, you are saying to yourself: look at those gigantic white margins on the sides!

Well, not anymore. Because now, Boards are full width.

Full width will be activated by default on any new Board you create - but to turn it on on your existing Boards, click "Edit Board" and go to "Settings" on the top right hand corner of the interface.

Note: Full width is a Board settings, when activated, it will be on for all members of the Workspace.

Boards got a revamp!

Boards are a central place to consume data, create stunning reports and collaborate. This quarter, the team rolled up their sleeves and re-crafted every pixels to create a brand new Board experience.

If you're using Boards to look at data, you'll see that we removed the border around Widgets, not only they feel lighter, they also show more data.

If you're designing Boards, you'll find:

  • A new widget actions toolbar with more actions like delete and duplicate, only a click away
  • A new widget options panel with new settings such as a View selector
  • New resize options to adjust vertically or horizontally your widget
  • A new design for comment style - using a yellow background, we're getting more familiar to an experience our users are used to (Google applications, Notion, etc.). We've also changed the "add comment" button and added a "view comment button" to be more user-friendly.

If you collaborate on Boards, you'll find:

  • A more familiar visual indicator for comments on widget
  • An easy "View comment" button to quickly access comments from Widgets

And, as usual, we took this opportunity to fix technical and usability bugs.
