• Simple Exponential Smoothing: use this when you need to forecast a time series with no trend and no seasonality.
• Double Exponential Smoothing: use this when you need to forecast a time series where you have a linear trend and no seasonality.
• Seasonal Linear Regression: use this when you need to forecast a time series where you have a linear trend, but you also want to take seasonality into account.
